Teaching Revival

Our congregation spent the past weekend in worship and seminars for spiritual revival and missional preparation. We are discerning our core values, mission statement, and vision so that we can finalize a 5-year ministry action plan by the end of Summer. We spent time teaching the laity and our core leadership about all these things and there is a sense of anticipation that God is about to do something amazing in our church. It is bringing us closer together and getting our younger adults excited about finding their place to serve. You can tell the Spirit is moving because everyone is naturally coming to a consensus. They feel like we are all being drawn into something so big that it cannot be done without God's power. It has brought more of us to prayer, and to worship.
