St. Vincent de Paul Society

Aldersgate UMC's pastor walked with the San Rafael PD's mental health liaison last week. She was informed a shelter resident had died and the organization would hold a memorial service for him the next day. Pastor Tara offered prayers during the service the next day. She is now partnering with St. Vincent's to officiate memorials for that community and spend time once a week with members of the community in their dining hall facility. God is moving to meet this very important need in the San Rafael community, and Aldersgate UMC is strengthening its ties to the community and nonprofit organizations.
