FEBRUARY COMMUNITY MEALS

Three months of the year, February, April and September, New Hope serves free Community meals to anyone in the community who  comes to our Thursday drive thru dinners.

It was announced today that we served over 650 meals in February at over a cost of $1000. Thanks was extended to everyone in the congregation who helped in any way: baked cookies or cakes, donated financially, prepped meals, cooked, worked in the kitchen, put meals together when ordered, served meals to the cars outside. 

Our Pastor talks to our guests in each car (still served as a drive thru). He prays with them and/or takes their prayer requests. We have one youth who isupports the dinners every week by handing the dinners to folks in thier cars.

We are very blessed that even as we have taken on additional months as some community churches have had to drop out of the program, our giving and donations to this  program continue to increase. God is good and he provides!
