Free Clothing & Household Items Event

We had held traditional rummage sales at our church for many years. Then about 5 years ago we asked ourselves, what if we made everything free? It worked our wonderfully, with lots of happy and surprised customers leaving with armloads of stuff. Most of them are living nearby to our church in Somerville. Since then we have been taking this "Everything is Free" approach and it has continued to work out well. It's actually easier for us, since there are no reasons to put a price on anything and no worries about haggling customers or even a cash box. We see this as a great way to serve our community.
