New Backpack Ministry

The Young Adult Sunday School class sought to adopt 30 children to provide backpacks filled with food for needy children over the weekend at a local school. We began packing and distributing these backpacks on Friday, October 3, providing for 47 children at a cost of $5/child, or $235. This will be provided weekly on an ongoing basis.
