Day of Ministry in Andover

Several volunteers from Andover United Methodist Church came out on October 18th  for the Hands-2-Serve day of ministry in the Andover community.  Andover UMC had a team of 10 who helped a couple on Phillips St. who are no longer able to maintain the drainage creek in their back yard. The team did a great job clearing brush and trimming trees! Special thanks to Roy Hayden for coordinating our team. In addition to AUMC, there were 11 other churches who supplied volunteers and donations. It was great to see churches moving beyond denominational boundaries to serve those in need in our community.
