88 Bikes Fundraiser May 20, 2018 -- mission by our kids

For the third year, our Kids ROC group (Kids Reaching Our Community) raised money and held a bike-a-thon to send money to 88 Bikes, a project which provides bicycles to girls around the world, especially the victims of human trafficking.  Kids ROC raised money and on May 20, 2018 rode laps with their bikes to show their commitment to this mission. This year the money raised will provide 29+ bikes.  Kids ROC was formed at Tonganoxie UMC by a group of young ladies who wanted to serve Jese by serving others, but they didn't see any opportunities nearby for kids.  Kids ROC plans the projects and then invites all the kids and families of the church to participate.  They do several projects throughout the year that serve the community locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
