Wesley UMC Ocean Springs Willy Wonka & the Faith Factory VBS

This reporting is a little late, but I wanted to share the exciting Vacation Bible School that was held week of July 15-19.  The Theme was "Willy Wonka & the Faith Factory". Wesley's VBS has become a community event and reaches out to many children and their families in our area.  There were 188 children in attendance with 43 adults and 21 youth volunteering.   As soon as the children presented their Golden Ticket at the gates of The Faith Factory, they became acquainted with Nicodemus, Martha, Timothy, and the Rich Young Ruler.  Through worship songs and skits, candy-themed crafts, stories, activities, science experiments, and even snacks the children learned about the SWEET love of Jesus.  And.......HOW SWEET IT WAS when the children raised over $2500 for Missionaries in Honduras!
