Weekend outreach

On Halloween we held an awesome Trunk or Treat event in the parking lot that had between 60 and 70 families come through. We were blessed to have our youth participate; they set up games that they'd prepared on their own, and had pretty good lines most of the evening! Two days later we held our biggest yearly fundraiser, which had near-record turnout. Both evenings we had volunteers who have never helped with an event before, and between these two events we were able to speak directly to hundreds of families in our community and invite them to worship! Pastor Marsha is specifically trying to invite everyone out for our Thanksgiving family worship service on the last Sunday of November, which gives them a specific Sunday to plan for rather than a general invitation to attend at some point (although we do certainly extend that, too!!).
