Forest

We have found the people at Forest United Methodist Church to be a very warm and supportive congregation.  Many parsonage improvements were made prior to our coming.  The parsonage was painted through-out and the carpet was changed on the first floor.  Gradually we have been getting acquinted with our people and community.  We have had the privilege of bein in several of the congregation's homes.  September 14 is scheduled to be "Back to Worship Sunday / Friend Day."  Several in the community have commited to be with us on that day.  Pastor Wilson brought a commitment from a person in the community to be with us on that day on August 31.  The rest of the congregation will be bringing their commitments from their friends on September 7.  We will be having Lewis McCord and the King's Four sharing with us for worship on September 14 and the service will be followed by a carry-in with lots of farm-fresh food.
