How Great is Our God

This year we added a second worship gathering to our Christmas Eve line-up, a service geared more toward children and young families but to which all people were welcome and would have fun. Santa showed up and kneeled at the manger praying. Glowsticks were used instead of candles. After this service and prior to our more traditional Carols, Communion, and Candlelight worship gathering, young and old alike were invited to sit on Santa's lap in our Family Life Center. Our total worship attendance for the night increased by 85% over last year's attendance. God was glorified, Jesus was lifted up, and the Holy Spirit was most definitely on the move throughout Epworth United Methodist Church, ("The Church Behind Starbucks") in Arlington, Texas. http://www.epworthtx.org
