unpredictable weather

It was difficult to make the call to cancel services, however, I felt it was wise to do so because of the elderly people in our congregation and the area in which they live.  A winterstorm was predicted.  It did not end up quite like it was predicted, however, I felt it was better to be safe and know your people are not put in harms way.  I also knew the majority of the members would not venture out in th snowy, icy weather.  We are now faced with a similar situation for this weekend.  This time it is snow on Saturday evening and -0 degree temperatures for Sunday.
