Affecting the MInistry

Our congregation is made up of mostly senior citizens. While we are making disciples for the transformation of the world; and the pastor has developed relationships within the community for availing opportunities to build discipleship relationships; we are also praying about ways to involve our winter saints. It is a blessing to hear comments from some of our congregants that "the Word of God has never been more alive here." One gentleman said in Bible study, "Pastor I am better able to connect the Old Testament with the New Testament and I am literally watching myself think differently and people are responding and approaching me with more respect since I have opened up to let God's Word change my heart." Comments like these helps me know as the pastor, I am right where God planted me in this season.
