Return to Easter Traditons

The pandemic halted many of our traditions.  It was a blessing to see a return to normalcy.  Garfield UMC had their Sunrise Service again.  The men from Larned UMC prepared Easter breakfast for the congregation.  They serve delicious breakfasts and the fellowship around the tables was great.  The Easter egg hunt also returned.  It was a little brief due to chilly temps.  Despite the temperature, the Easter baskets were full of eggs.  Pastor Trish had an inspiring message presented in the form of a one-person skit.  We celebrate the Resurrection.  We had a few Easter bonnets make an appearance.  That always begins those conversations, "Do you remember when we used to always wear hats and gloves to church?"
