Trunk-or-Treat, Heavenly Hike, and Parade

This past weekend, the church was busy! On Friday, the church held it's 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat event in which several children from the church and community attended. Then on Saturday, the church held its first "Heavenly Hike" at the local Forest Preserve where children travelled the walking path learning about Creation, Baptism, Prayer, Death and Resurrection, and Jesus' Ascension. Finally, on Sunday, the church agreed to be in this year's Fall Festival Parade: pens, flyers, candy, and Little Jesus' will be handed out. It was a busy weekend but by the end many people were "falling" for the One who never "leafs" us, Jesus!
