Building the Family

We have been very intentional about building Disciples within the family of God here at WoordBurn UMC. We have placed a great deal of emphasis upon the importance of each member in attendance and their making invitation to friends, family and co-workers. We have strengthened the adult study opportunities and spoken from the pulpit about the importance of study, this is also coupled with Sermon Series which goes deep into a Book of Scripture. We have been very intentional about building the opportunities to serve and give in missions, this is coupled with weekly reporting, encouragement and thanks for going beyond tithing to give. The results have been, an increase in mission giving, increase in study times, and an increase in attendance 2010 average was 41, year to date for 2012 average is 53. God is Good, All of the Time. I forgot one thing, we are building a worship team too.
