Kerens FUMC - a people with serving hearts!

Our emphasis on Outreach is going tremendously well.  We have several ways in which we reach out to people of all ages:  Our Spring Break Training Day Camp for children K-5th, our First Annual (with others to follow due to tremendous success) Health Fair reaching out to all ages, and our "Brushstroke of Love" Day Mission Blitz on home repair and restoration for elderly and single parents in the community.  We will host our second project on April 21st for an elderly couple who are battling life threatening illnesses.  We also have a high participation of persons involved in Bible Study each week and that has received wonderful feedback and learning.  Our attendance continues to grow and we received a new member on March 4th.  We have several young families re-engaging in the church and have had several join over the past 6 months.  Kerens FUMC has seen a tremendous growth in our Stewardship giving in all areas of the church.  We are truly blessed and tithe our offering back each week in response to our many blessings.  We are excited to serve our Lord!
