Our church is not currently "physically" engaged in any outreach programs at the moment but we do collect for the following ministries all year long and then at certain times "distribute" what we have collected. The following is a list of ministries that members of our church family contribute to on a weekly/monthly basis.

Food/money for FISH

Flav-r-pac and Santiam Labels (to support our UMW programs/ministries)

Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education (to support local Woodstock and Grout Elementary Schools)

Backpack Lunch Program currently supporting 10 children at Woodstock Elementary School during the school year

Socks (we collect socks throughout the year to go to Janus Youth Program, FISH, and Woodstock/Grout Elementary School)

Our Pet Friends (we collect food, toys, blankets, collars, leashes, etc.) and donate to various Pet Programs

School Supplies for back to school for both Woodstock and Grout Elementary Schools

Our Garden of Eatin' - we harvest fruit, vegetables and herbs from our very own church garden to give to the Oregon Food Bank, FISH and members of our own church and other building users. Our garden is in its fledgling stage (we are only in our second year) so we are learning on a daily basis what works and what doesn't, but we feel we have been very successful thus far.

ALBERTA GARY MEMORIAL

Alberta Gary Memorial UMC supports a woman in India who is paralyzed from the waist down (she fell from a tree at the age of 8 and broke her back). The money goes to pay her medical bills. In the past we have helped her get a wheelchair, built a ramp so she could leave her home, and purchased a cow that provided milk for the family to sell so they would have a steady income.
