early transitions

This first month has been a period of adjustment.  Along with pastoral leadership the congregation has transtioned from full time to part- time ministry.  I was surprised to discover that though the congregation is small it does have several part-time employees (secretary,musician, choir director, and janitor).   I did not anticipate a real staff in this new congregation. The reception has been very good and the church has gone through a gret deal of work in order to be ready for the changes it's undergoing.  

I too am making adjustments I had never anticipated.  I have never used the media projection devices tthat are here.  In fact, the congregation has used them only once.  The previous pastor had sucessfully labored to have them added for the worship services and left the week after they were installed.  His work has b een my gain (I think?).  I'll have to use the system a bit longer to know whether I am making a change for the good or just a change.
