Maple Grove UMC (La Porte County) had a ministry oriented booth set up at the New Carlisle Hometown Days

over the weekend of July 27-29. We gave away balloons that had the caption, "Jesus Loves Me" on them.

We also had copies available of kids and youth-oriented magazines along with literature describing the

basics of Christianity. Besides this, we distributed brochures about the Maple Grove congregation.

We were able to engage several people in many faith-oriented discussions. It was a good weekend, and

actually ministering to people rather than trying to sell them some physical object was rather refreshing.
