Back to School Party

Each month our church tries to do something to involve the community.  We had an Easter Egg Hunt this year, Ice Cream Social in July and last night we had a back to school party.   We also do a HMO (Hot Meal Outreach) dinner each month from September through June. All this is free to the community.

We had a bounce house at the local fair and a couple of other games.  We gave out yardsticks with the church name and address on them.  On Sunday we had our party which we had advertised at the fair. We had the bounce house and 8 other games for the children to do and gave away prizes.  Also with this we had a book give away, school supplies, a clothes closet with back to school clothes, and hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and ice cream for all that came to participate.

We had a lot of new people who stopped by.  A couple of people came up and told us we were awesome and angels.  Had one family say they were going to come to church next Sunday.
