Community Halloween Party

On October 28 the Melbeta UMC held a community-wide soup supper and Halloween Party.  People were encouraged to dress in costumes, and prizes were awarded.  Children and adults played games after the supper.  In all 44 people attended the gathering.  Our average attendance in worship is about 22 so we doubled the number of people who usually attend worship services and provided a welcoming and inclusive church atmosphere for all who attended.  Several people people asked that we be sure to invited them the next time we do something of this nature.
