Missions

This past weekend, members of our church and community participated in our annual 5k Run for Hunger.  On Saturday morning, over 170 adults and children ran and/or walked in the 5k - some from as far as 90 miles away!  All profits from registration fees and sponsor fees were used to purchase food for Stop Hunger Now, and volunteers packaged 20,430 meals on Saturday afternoon.  This is the third year Heritage UMC has packaged food for Stop Hunger Now and the second year for the 5k.
