New Ministry

We started a new ministry the second week of January which we call 5:17 Worship.  It literally goes at 5:17 on Sunday afternoon.  It is designed as an alternate for those who cannot attend on Sunday morning.  It is based on 2 Corinthians 5:17.  It is entirely different than our morning worship.  This past Sunday during this service we baptized a young mother (profession of faith) along with her two children!  I asked my Admin Council Chair and my eldest member - when the last time we took in a profession of faith or had a children's baptism?  The answer was THEY COULD NOT REMEMBER!  Praise God!  The church is filled with excitement and we are looking for many more disciples for Jesus Christ!
