Chili Cook OFF

In Fannin County, the six (6) Methodist Churches (Bethel, Blue Ridge, Epworth, Liberty Hill, McCaysville, & Williamstown) had a Chili Cook off at the Mountain Area Christian Academy as a fund-raiser for a community based organization call Open-Arms Children Shelter for Abused Children.  We raised a total of $336 for the shelter which has 3 children since opening 2 weeks ago.  This is just an example of how our Connectedness through the council works on projects in the Community together.  We have been together as the Fannin Council of Methodist Churches for years.   Thanks to all that participated with donations and with the chili, deserts, cornbread, drinks, and crackers.   God is good.
