Committee Fair

We held a committee fair on St. Patricks Day this year. Each committee met after church for a lunch provided by the church to elect a chairperson, a recording secretary, to review its job description and schedule another meeting within a month. This exercise was not meant for the committees that were already functioning well and meeting regularly. Instead, it was meant for the three or so committees that had not been meeting regularly and which did not have a chairperson or secretary. This committee fair worked very well in reactivating largely moribund committees and I plan on using it again in the future.
