First sunday of every month a lunch is served by differents groups after church. This has helped us come together as one.
The youth are very active - having attended ATF, serving meals at Place of Hope and Salvation Army, participated in the 30 hr. famine at a lock-in at church. They also participate in the all church clean-up and are now helping as ushers and in the sound room.
On April 27, the church has a "Big Give" donation time. The congregation donates items and time and food for the less fortunate. It runs from 8 am to 1 pm with a breakfast served for those attending. After it was over the Salvation Army came and picked up what was left. So the donations went further.
On May 10 & 11 the youth presented a "mystery dinner" for the community. It was well attended both nights. They have done this every year. They do this to help with their mission trip next year.
The UMW meets monthly and fills "baskets of love" for members & friends of Grace Church who are unable to attend church regularly. They are currently planning a church bazaar in Sept.(which is done yearly).
Pastor Lynda has encouraged our congregation by presenting different studies - an adult Sunday School class and leadership sessions - transitional interim ministries. It was well received so that the Adult Sunday School class will be taken over by two members of the congregation in the fall.
We have 3 small group bible studies being offered each month. Two meet weekly and one meets bi-monthly. Good attendance in all.
