Planting, watering, waiting...

According to Jesus, Mary had it right. Measuring Mary is hard to do. God knows our hearts, and will honor our faithfulness. As a church, we have been more like Mary lately. Our children's ministry is so blessed, our food ministry is stellar, and we even paid off a Family Activity Center early...but, our relationships with one another and with God are getting really good. That's the important part. Building a foundation takes time. Changing the will of the people takes time. Like good disciples, we are beginning to bear much fruit, we are learning to abide in His word, and soon, maybe, we might even be known for our love. We we do these things, we can begin to help transform people of this community in a lasting way. Love, Pastor Steve (Lula UMC)
