Lion and Lamb festival, peace, justice and hope.

My wife and I enjoyed the Lion and the Lamb festival as it opened our eyes to specific injustices in the world at large and the people who are suffering the most. It is more than just a blanket statement of helping the widow and the poor. It put a face on who exactly is involved and how do they need our prayers, support and help. It is not always about throwing money as a solution but to empower, equip and care for people.It also goes to show us how sick our society is and how blind we are to some of the travesties in our world and how sometimes we are the cause or fuel for the problems. This will now be addressed in our church and we will be looking for ways to understand some of the deeper issues and hopefully awaken a desire for spiritual renewal.
