Shared Ministry's Wednesday Meals/Outreach

Weekly around 140 Meals are prepared with these delivered in to the Community or available for pickup.  Those delivering are able to have a short home visit with shutins and unchurched individuals.  Some people come to the church and pick up the meal or request being added to the Food Pantry list.  On February 26 a girl walking with backpack stopped by (our church is in a remote area of the county) and asked to charge her phone.She was fed, driven to the home from which she was being evicted to pick up her belongings and then to town to find housing near her employment.  Local help agencies were contacted to provide some assistance and the church Benevolance Fund provided some.
