Wesley Mission Team volunteers at Camp Chippewa

Fourteen members from Wesley UMC, Parsons, participated in a work weekend at Camp Chippewa near Ottawa, Kansas. Sixty-five volunteers completed many tasks as they built and fixed fence to accomodate the many horses used during the summer camping season. The camp facilities were completely cleaned and readied for campers. The group enjoyed fellowship time and meals together. The congregation at Wesley collected funds through March to help purchase fence supplies. A special emphasis was made noting that many of our children and youth attend this camp each summer. A check for $647.72 was delivered to the camp.
