Blessing of the backpacks

We had a blessing of the backpacks for all students and educators at the close of our service today. Our pastor welcomed everyone up front, as well as parents of the kiddos, so close to 25 ppl stood in front of the congregation for prayers and love from our congregation. We followed it with a Family Potluck and Ice Cream Sundae extravaganza provided by our Children and Youth Ministry. God's love was for sure in this place today. Over 100 ppl joined the luncheon, and we are blessed beyond request.
