Connectionalism

Seven pastors from seven churches, including Rocky Head UMC, came together to celebrate the Seven Last Words of Christ.  The churches are all located in the Southwest Atlanta community with one new start in Lovejoy, GA (just south of Atlanta).  The other churches were Poplar Spring, Laster's Chapel, Rivertown, New Oakland City, Sacred Praise and Bethel UMC.  This was an awesome time with members from the seven churches all fellowshiping together and receiving a mighty Word from the pastors in charge of these seven churches.  It was truly connectionalism at its very best.  We all look forward to future opportunities for our congregations to connect in praise and worship.
