100th Anniversay

Swords UMC is a small rural church of 43 members.  On October 7, 2012, we will celebrate 100 years of ministry in the Swords community of Morgan County Georgia.  Plans have been developed and are under way to continue our miinistry including the construction of a Fellowship Hall.  This Hall will be an added addition to our ministry as the church has not had one during our 100 year ministry.  Most all our fellowship activities have taken place outdoors of in our largest classroom (10'/12' in size.)  Growth potential in our community includes the lower end of Morgan County around Lake Oconee.  We solicit the prayers of all.  God bless you.
