(Pre) Advent Study

In the past we've struggled with getting people involved in an Advent study group, so this year our Pastor suggested we begin the study before Advent.  People are less busy than in those hectic weeks leading up to Christmas, and it can also bring new meaning to the scriptures as they are read during Advent .  

We are using the book, video presentation and reflections from The Journey by Adam Hamilton and the discussions and sharings have been outstanding.  Everyone is amazed at what they didn't know about the most famous story in the world!      

This is the first time we are doing a study this way and the positive feedback tells us we are on to something that works for our congregation.
