3rd annual CHRISTmas Shoppe

Manor UMC had our 3rd annual CHRISTmas Shoppe on Dec 15, 2018.  CHRISTmas Shoppe offers an opportunity for children to come "shop" for a Christmas present for their parents and grandparents.  There are also cookies to decorate and Christmas Cards to color while they are waiting on their parents.  The parents are able to pick a toy, stuffed animal and a book or puzzle for each of their children.  We were also blessed with 90 food boxes from the Manor Chamber of Commerce.  We supplemented 50 of the boxes with a $10.00 and extra cans of food.  And Frontier, who just opened in Manor, surprised us with 60 $20.00 gift cards.  These cards were added to the remaining boxes and we have some left to give to those in need.  We gave away 50 food boxes on Saturday and will distrubute the rest to people who come to HOPE reSTOREd when we are open on the December 19.  We had 50 people visit the CHRIStmas Shoppe on Saturday.  There were 228 family members that received at least 3 gifts each.  We were able to provide all of these gifts because of very generous members of the Manor uMC church family.
