Youth Basketball

In recent months, Youth Basketball has encountered significant growth, not only in quantity, but also in quality.  Working with inner city youth can, in various ways, be quite different from a suburban experience.  Working with Pastor Marilyn Jones, we have arranged a great way of offering Bible study before basketball time that has shown to be beneficial to the whole attitude of our time in basketball.  We always have a reflection of the week before we get started playing basketball, prayer requests and prayers.  In between games this wee, a few of the boys and I discussed the possibilities of their future after high school.  Each week presents different challenges but each week also presents new hopes.
