This is a reply to a posting done on 9/13/15 by Enola Emmanuel UM church about the plans for the Fall season from the Youth Director.

We are very excited about what God is doing in and amongst our students. We have several exciting events planned through the new year. In October, we will be traveling to Ski Roundtop(a local ski resort) to participate in low-ropes course experience. This will be a great team building and fellowship activity! We will also be hosting our first annual youth lock-in later in the month. December will bring our first Boys Night Out/Girls Night Out events as well as our first annual Emmanuel Youth Christmas! In January, Emmanuel youth will be traveling to Altoona, PA for a water weekend retreat/conference geared entirely for youth! These special events that I just described serve as supplemental activities to our weekly Sunday evening youth group gatherings. Currently, we are studying the characteristics of Jesus so that we may learn how to be more and more like Him in our daily living. We areso excited to watch God grow this ministry and really bless our efforts in reaching students for Christ.

It sounds like you are really committed to your youth! Are you able to help them make connections between the "fun" activities and their work of learning to be more like Christ? That's always a challenge for youth work.
