Youth Event/Gen Life

Our wonderful Pastor Ani has been working very hard to engage the church and neighborhood youths and I was able to see the result of her efforts.  She has a Youth Event most Wednesdays starting at 7:00 pm and I went to photograph one Wednesday.  As children arrive some bring large pizzas to share and some bring sodas.  How generous!  

The event starts with some readings and singing.  There is a group of musicians who make the church come alive and the youth sing and dance. What an inspiring event, watching the children get happy with the music is magic!   Then Pastor Ani speaks some words of wisdom, their are prayers and youth conversation interaction..  At the end the children are excused and leave the church to socialize and eat.  This is a youth event but there are lots of adults too.  They sing, answer questions and basically have a good time.  I'm an adult and would like to come again too!
