Youth Ministry

We are excited to announce that a new Youth Director, Jennifer Perkins, has joined the staff at FUMC Taylor. The church has been without a Youth Director for 15 month. When the previous youth director left, the church did not have the funds to hire another youth director and could not see any possibility for a youth director in the future.  To our surprise and answer to prayer,  a large gift was given from outside the church which was to be matched by the congregation to hire a youth director.  In a congregation that was struggling financially, the gift was matched in just three weeks!   This blessing from God gave the church hope and confirmed that God is working in the congregation! Praise God!  We pray for our new youth director as she leads youth in the church and community to professions of faith and spiritual growth!  Rev. Brenda Adkins
