Mission Outreach

Our church has always had phenonemal heart for missions, both locally and globally. In the last 2 weeks our church has given over $13,000 specifically to missions through special giving. Locally, there was a child in our community who had attended our Tomorrow's Promise preschool, but her family is active in another church. This little girl was diagnosed with a brain tumor December 2010. Since then their bills have mounted. Our church took up a special offering in March and we were able to give this family $9,100 to help them with their expenses. In addition to this, we have collected special offerings and have sent one team down to help with the tornado disaster in southern Indiana. Another team of helpers plan to go this Friday to continue helping with the clean-up. Our church just mailed $3,950 to help with this disaster. Our chuch is a blessing with their outward focus!
