Diamonds in the making

Our outreach ministry and Dreamgirls ( an outreach ministry to homeless women) sponsored a prayer banquet "Diamonds in the Making" for thirty-five women from two local shelters.  In an ecumenical atmosphere women of all ages were made to feel like diamonds through words of encouragement and small gifts. The highest point of the afternoon was seeing and hearing from a homeless teenager who through this ministry will be finishing high school this year.
