Holy Week Mission Trip

On Palm Sunday 16 folka from Hiram First UMC (Hiram, GA) and Providence Presbyterian Church (Dallas, GA) traveled to Dade County in extreme NW Georgia (actualliy in the Holsten Conference.  Men, women and children, ranging in age from 9 - 77 years teamed up with folks from Michigan and worked on two new house builds for folks who had lost their homes.  Devastation in this area was tremendous and probably recieved less coveralge than many arears.  Over 22 lives were lost in this community.  God used this to create a desire in the hearts of those who had never been involved in missions to continue to reach out to help others.  See our photos on Hiram Methodist Missions Facebook page.
