On Friday, June 29, a strong wind storm blew through our town, knocking down trees, limbs, and power lines. Our church has many members on the local fire department. The church and fire department rallied together to clean-up the town. On the afternoon the storm hit, volunteers from the church and fire department spent about 5 hours cleaning-up the town. Then, on Sunday, after worship another group of volunteers from the church went out into the community and worked another 7 hours cleaning-up fallen limbs and trees around town. Volunteers ranged in age from 3 years-old to 65+ years old.
