Mission Trip

DeSoto UMC has always been very active in mission giving, and even at times hands on with such projects as Food Banks and Habitat for Humanity.  However, many in the congregation have never traveled away from Delaware County on a work team.  We had 8 out of our 11 work teams members who went to Henryville to help with the tornado clean up, go for the very first time.  We are watching God's presence stir up a body of beleivers who are interested and excited in going beyond their area and their comfort zone to be the hands, feet and heart of Christ.
