Mission Team works at UM camp in Montana

Seventeen members of Wesley's mission team traveled to Flathead Lake United Methodist Camp in Rollins, Montana from May 17-25. The group completed many varied tasks at the camp to help it get ready to open the camping season. Some of the work completed included thoroughly cleaning 9 cabins and 2 bath houses, scraping and painting many picnic tables and benches, installing a water fountain, hooking up plumbing to all cabins to the new water system, picking up rocks from around the newly installed water lines, painting siding, building bunk beds, cutting, splitting and stacking firewood, clearing and burning brush, and other tasks. A donation of $1600 was made to the camp to help with upcoming needs.

The camp director and staff were very impressed with what the group was able to accomplish in such a short time.

The group enjoyed a day-trip to Glacier National Park to see the magnificent scenery.
