Tuesday's Table Ministry

We have now been offering a free community meal on Tuesday nights for over three years.  The “Tuesday’s Table” outreach has grown from an average of about 40 per week to 82 in 2012.  The meals are served each Tuesday night from 5:00-6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.  All who would find this weekly meal helpful are welcome.  There is no charge for the meal, nor are reservations required.  We have five teams that take turns cooking and serving the meal.  Even better news is that four other churches in our town also provide meals, three weekly and another once a month.  That's at least four meals every week that people can bring their families to and appreciate the fellowship and the meal provided.  Tuesday's Table has been a blessing both to those who receive the meals; and to those who prepare and serve at Winfield First United Methodist Church.
