VBS Blessings

Vacation Bible School is always one of our most treasured events.  This year, we had 60 children attend and 40 volunteers to help out.  We saw God in the joy of Braydon, a four year old who was over joyed to have the opportunity to drop his pennies in the can for the local food pantry.  

This week, we have also seen God in the faces of the young parents at Early Childhood Matters, a program of the City of Fort Worth.  This program teaches young parents how to help their children learn and read.  These young parents have continued to meet once a week, even though their facilitator has been on sick leave most of the summer.
