MISSION GRANDVIEW

Mission Grandview was this past week. We had 28 members join with about the same number from Chambers Creek Baptist for a team effort of being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our own community. The mission projects included: cleaning flower beds at the local police station, clearing an overgrown vacant lot, and scraping, repairing and painting the local African Methodist Episcopal Church.  The AME church ladies cooked lunch for us each day.  We had breakfast each morning and dinner each evening at one of the churches.  We also ended each day with a worship service.  The last day of the event, we cooked hamburgers and hotdogs in 3 different locations for the whole community. God was everywhere; from the rising of the sun to its setting and beyond. It was truly a Grand View.
