Local Missions

Ten people from FUMC Taylor participated in missions at our local food pantry, Shepherd's Heart. It was heartwarming to see a young family bring their three boys to pass out large paper bags full of food to those in our community who were  in need. Each person who received food was greeted warmly and the day began with a devotional presented by the boy's mother, our Lay Speaker and Lay Leader, Shelli Cobb. One client yelled out, "Good Job" after Shelli finished the devotional. A Sheperd's Heart, Jesus Christ, was observed throughout this mission experience.
